I'm retired. My last position was VP of Engineering Technology at John Deere.

I've been a people leader for many years and so I lead large teams to make technology transformations that add value for customers and the company.

Being the first female engineering director at John Deere.

Challenges

Doubt. People disrespecting my knowledge because they didn't know me and I was the first female they'd worked with. Breaking barriers isn't for the weak! :)

My Family

I have been married for over 30 years, have one daughter, one son and a granddaughter!! They live near me and we love to spend time together!!

Dreams and Goals

I want to write a book within a year. In 10 years, I want to build a legacy of helping others and giving freely.

My children inspired me to make a big difference in my career!

My Advice

Do it! It's interesting, it's challenging and the opportunities are almost endless!

Hobbies

I love to lift, cook, read and spend time at the lake boating and waterskiing!
